In shamanic cultures, people did not separate spiritual practices from their daily life. For their daily life was intertwined with their relationship with nature and with creating harmony in the community. All the practices of crafting beautiful words, thoughts, daydreams were all weaved into daily life. They were not separate practices. In today’s modern-day world people separate their spiritual practices from their ordinary life. What is needed right now is for us to remember to do our spiritual practices throughout the day especially when we’re challenged the most so that there’s no separation between our spiritual life and our regular life. And of course, there are times when we cannot keep up a spiritual point of view. And these are times when we must forgive ourselves as we are all learning on this earth plane together.
